Pour Vida Art & Plant House is a studio and boutique in Venice, Ca.  It was founded by artist Sadie Gilliam of Freedumb Founded Jewelry and Aoclay Ceramics.  Pour Vida is a place where artists and makers can learn a new skill through one of our many workshops, hone your skills and meet new friends! We have a gently curated boutique and green house.  We are all about Growth in many forms.

Helene Ige’s Miracle Mile based boutique is filled with her own creations, as well as a treasure trove of new and vintage objects from all over the globe. 

 

3. D2 Ceramics

D2Ceramics is a collaboration between Dina and Dominic, partners who share a passion. Collaborating on projects in their basement studio, Dina has a whimsy loose hand painting style, while Dominic’s leans more towards the geometric.  Delightful and practical pieces of art for the home.

 

4. Rachid Photo

Rachid Dahnoun is a visual storyteller who draws viewers into the earth’s wildest places. His award-winning nighttime photography images is one of Dahnoun’s specialties (the cover of National Geographic’s Night Sky of North America features one of his spectacular Milky Way shots). Traveling more than 200 days a year, Dahnoun jokes that his business card should read “professional packer,” and as a surfer, snowboarder, mountain biker and hiker, he’s accustomed to toting all manner of equipment. Yet some of his favorite haunts are close to home: With studios in South Lake Tahoe and Bodega Bay, California, he logs frequent trips into the Sierra and along Sonoma’s picturesque coastline.

Beautiful seed bead jewelry creations. Kim, the creator of Hummingbird Muse Bead Co. is a semi-retired mom and Grammy. Beading on and off for 30+ years! A few months ago my daughter dug my tackle box full of beads out of her storage and here I go again! Just like riding a bike, except my eyes are worse!(I personally own several pairs of her lovely earrings).

Primarily for the masculine person. While this is a membership type of gift company, they have such a unique variety of gifts some for the feminine and the kids, all sourced from independent small businesses. You can skip months, or just pay a non member rate for items.But definitely look at what they have, I can’t seem to quit!
